About this wallpaper

Early November light is honest light: low, clear, and unsentimental, the kind that shows exactly how a thing is made. Today's wallpaper honors that candor. Every shape here is visible in its construction, from the folded treads of the staircase to the raised edge of the circle and the shadow cast by a single sheet of card held off the wall.

The Bauhaus believed that a red circle, a yellow triangle, and a blue square could carry as much feeling as any portrait. Constructivism added the diagonal, that restless line of momentum toward a better tomorrow. Here both ideas meet in the clean contour of the comic page, where clarity itself becomes a kind of warmth.

At the top of the stair stands one small figure holding a black square, the last piece of the composition. Why today? Because the year is turning toward its final chapter, and there is still time to place your keystone. Climb a step, set the shape down, and let the design become complete.
