1. Our Commitment to Quiet Privacy
At Morrow (developed by Circuit & Moss Labs), we believe software should feel like a deep breath. We design our apps with a privacy-by-default architecture: you never need to give us an email address, name, or social login to experience daily drops or compose procedural masterworks.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect your name, physical address, contacts, or personal identity. The minimal data processed includes:
- Anonymous account: On first launch the app creates an anonymous guest account on our server, identified by a random ID and a generated handle. It holds your favorites, the creations you save, and your Morrow Pro status. If you choose to add an email and password (optional), we store the email and a salted hash of the password.
- Device & Anonymous Identifiers: A random device ID and your anonymous account ID, used to manage subscription entitlements (via RevenueCat), count usage, and deliver notifications.
- Usage Events: Which screens and features are used (for example: a drop viewed, a wallpaper applied, a paywall shown, a purchase started or completed), with app version, platform and OS version. We use this to improve the app and understand which features people value.
- Crash Reports: Stack traces, device model and OS version when the app crashes, so we can fix it.
- Local Preferences: Settings, cached wallpapers and procedural recipes are also stored on your device.
3. Third-Party Services & Analytics
We partner only with trusted infrastructure providers adhering to strict privacy protocols:
- Apple App Store & Google Play: In-app purchases, renewals, and billing are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your credit card or payment details.
- RevenueCat: Validates receipts and unlocks Morrow Pro. It receives your anonymous account ID and purchase history, and tells our server whether Pro is active.
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): Receives the usage events and crash reports described above, linked to your anonymous account ID. It is not used for advertising.
- No Ad Networks or Trackers: Morrow does not run third-party advertising SDKs or sell device identifiers to data brokers. Your experience is quiet, private, and 100% ad-free.
4. On-Device Generation & Local Exports
When you use the Create procedural instrument, all mathematical simulations, shader calculations, and image renders happen 100% on your device’s GPU. Your custom creations are not uploaded to our cloud servers without your explicit consent.
5. Children’s Privacy
Morrow is an aesthetic digital art and wallpaper application designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You can delete your account and everything tied to it (favorites, saved and shared creations, email if you added one, and usage events) at any time from Settings → Delete My Data in the app, or by emailing us at the address below. Uninstalling Morrow removes the data stored on your device, but not your server account. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through your Apple ID or Google Play account; deleting your data does not cancel a subscription.
