About this wallpaper
There is a fleeting hour during high summer when the lido empties and geometry reigns supreme. In 'Prismatic Lido', leisure is elevated to sacred design; the fluid rippling of water is disciplined into crystalline facets, each pool of turquoise and cobalt outlined in disciplined, leaded contour lines reminiscent of modernist cathedral windows.
Executed in rich gouache and tempera, the composition pairs chalky, matte opacity with an impossible internal luminosity. The terraced travertine and sun-bleached umbrellas cast sharp, angular diagonals that anchor the eye, offering a rhythmic sanctuary of order, clarity, and warm Mediterranean leisure that turns every glance at the screen into a cooling plunge.
