About this wallpaper
There is a rare stillness found when evening light begins to thicken into honey. In this piece, that ephemeral transition is captured not with fleeting brushstrokes, but through the deliberate, permanent discipline of cloisonné. Slender gilded wire ribbons delineate every billow and swirl of a solitary sunset cloud, containing glossy lakes of vitreous enamel that capture the spectrum of declining daylight.
The tactile luxury of polished enamel is quietly subverted by a vintage lofi grain, evoking a cherished 35mm print tucked inside an old sketchbook from late autumn, 1986. Together, the radiant gold fillets and soft analogue texture transform the modern smartphone screen into a warm jewel-box window overlooking an eternal dusk.
