About this wallpaper
There is a profound, almost hypnotic poetry in the physics of a spinning top. In childhood, spinning a wooden 'koma' meant creating an ephemeral oasis of kinetic order—a gyroscope humming with pure potential until gravity claimed its final wobble. Here, that fleeting burst of joy is suspended within the disciplined grandeur of twentieth-century printcraft.
Rendered through the tactile vocabulary of multi-layered woodblock relief, each spinning plaything leaves an indelible wake of fluid abstract color. Saturated waves of crimson vermilion and deep mineral teal fold into each other, capturing the dizzying thrill of play. The grain of the cherry wood matrix breathes through the ink, celebrating both hand-crafted patience and spontaneous childhood abandon.
Set against the gentle warmth of unbleached Mulberry paper, this composition serves as an invigorating daily reminder to embrace kinetic energy, curiosity, and the unbridled delight tucked within the simplest mechanical wonders.
